Life’s struggle

We work our lives away each day,
Wishing there was another way.
Make the means we have to meet,
To eat potatoes and fresh meat.
Rushing here there and everywhere,
Not much time fore family affairs.
Most of our children will grow up,
Wishing they would've gotten just one more hug.
Then one day they all will too,
Start this cycle all anew.
