Light of Love

Whoever thought I'd find a hand to hold
A hand that holds more fortune than does gold
A warmth that can be felt from day to day
A love I know will never go away
From God's good graces did our hearts connect
Two links of chain both joined by love direct
In bitter darkness did our hands unite
Now bathed in love we stand before each fight
Two birds that fly into that sunset vast
With golden wings and steady beat that lasts
Each evening closes with a song of love
A melody composed by Him above
