Lighthouse

By

When the sea turns violent in the night,
The captain begins to search for the light.

For high on the hill during the storm,
The lighthouse continues to perform.

Shining as a beacon across the sea,
Helping the captain know where to be.

May the lighthouse be our example in life,
Reminding us to shine during strife.

May we be the beacon high on the hill,
Leading others to the Lord’s will.

May we continue to shine no matter the cost,
Striving to help those who are lost.
