Lighthouse Keeper

By Evan

She sang a song,
He looked through the window,
The song couldn't catch his heart,
He left oneday,
Never wrote a letter,
She waited at the bay ,
And she was a lighthouse keeper.

The God she believed,
Was different from his,
The feeling she felt - maybe
He didn't feel the same,
She was a girl who had suffer.
But no one to blame.
You know who she was ,
She was a lighthouse keeper.

He whispered in her ears,
She slept in his arms,
What a life he was living,
But wasn't a life of a soldier,
He kissed her all he can,
She thought she was dreaming.
And with a heart made of gold,
She became a lighthouse keeper.

He came in winter,
And left when she was sleeping ,
Left to War, where
Life was cheaper,
To live, he took all her pictures.
So, the girl he loved,
Became a lighthouse keeper.
