Lilly

Lilly

Beautifully I dance among my lilies of lies,
In the form of security, a gentle breeze rolled by,
So, I paused for a moment to take a look,
Deep in the distance over by the brook,
For It was her foliage that made me stare,
As this single red rose’s soul began to blare,
Her song among my lilies which filled the air,
Sharing her song of blossom and despair,
As the roots of her insecurity made my soles swear,
That my vessels gave way too her weeping,
For in my dark moment I made her sure,
Because the hem of my skirt waved and shook,
An unsavory product I’d later flare,
Saved by the sway of my lilies rolling by,
In their form of security, they would buy,
An unhealthy space in my mental book,
For there were to many lilies that I hadn’t shook,
To cry of a single red rose that shared my brook.
