Lions and Broken Hearts

As a lion devours it's prey
It considers not it's feelings
It asks it not permission
It shows little restraint
And as it indulges in the meat
And the flesh
And the bone
It shows little remorse

So then
How can you ask these things of a lion
A lion who cannot speak to you
Lions aren't cruel
It is just in a lion's blood
Lions hunt
And chase
And kill
And lions cannot speak to you
So never ask a lion forgiveness
