Little Bird

Sing a song Little Bird,
It doesn't have to be long,
A bar or two will do;
Hear it resonate across the pond.
Sing a tune Little Bird,
One from when you were young;
Let it fill the air with nostalgia,
And forsee the things to come.
Sing a melody Little Bird,
In any chord you wish,
May it warm the hearts of all around:
The bugs and bears and fish.
Sing a lullaby Little Bird,
For those who sleep all day,
And another for when they wake,
As the day life goes to lay.
Sing a song Little Bird,
One just for me and you,
While we sit and watch the stars at night;
I'll whisper, I love you.
