Little did I know

We have always argued,
about everything.
Never in anger
rather for fun,
brother to brother.
Besides,
I knew you when I was one.
It stirred our hearts to debate;
pushing for answers gone straight.
Never a fault gone by smoothly,
so imagine the surprise
in my eyes,
as they focused on the light
reflecting off the FBI badge.
On our
Steeple
Steps.
You,
The brother who hurt the sisters.
Me,
The one who failed to see it.
You,
The one declared guilty.
Me,
The one who feels it.
