Little Ease

Pull in new life
create demand for new air
tight shut and fingers crossed
freckle by freckle new hair

down down
down down
a natural rhythm
fragile, bare

slowly nothing death creeps around
dead cells we continue to wear
rough surface
no nerves, no tingles
no hurt

dirt lingers, dirt disperse
all through this ocean of hers

drip drop
my nerves
feel every molecule that pulls with gravity's turn

and our mountains...they curve
we are one like two plates that collide in the earth

your soul is grey and blue and green
the truest sight mine have ever seen
