Little girl, age of five
was hiding behind her parent's thigh.
She could not look into their eyes.
Little girl, age of nine.
The words the say stung in her mind.
She could not speak, but so she tried.
Instead she ran away and cried.
Little girl, age if twelve.
They mocked the way she dressed.
Instead of crying, she sent them flying.
The teacher was very impressed.
Little girl, age of fourteen
knew she would rule the world.
Those who had mocked her fled,
regretting the words they had earlier said.
Girl, age of sixteen
now smiles in front of the fame.
The words they say mean nothing to her.
Because in front of the lights,
she is never afraid.
