Little Girl

little girl, embrace the sting
and seize the inflicted pain
immerse yourself in the blood
But remember don't carve too deep
continue to smile with every slice
your skin ripped apart
oh, the euphoria you feel
how many gashes are there now?

little girl why are you so internally dead
will your wounds ever repair
clench yourself and cry in the corner
whatever alleviates the day
red stained upon your wrists
"why won't you die"
another day started with a new blade
mutilate yourself again

little girl, cut away
don't close your eyes
your dreams are haunted
within your memory it lies
it will steal your last breath
and wilt the last rose of hope
making every night life or death
it's misery braided tighter than a rope
