Little Songbird

Little songbird tell to me
The secret of your melody.

My sister knows the clever way
Between the world's veiled doorways.

Endow me with my beloved's gift,
That joyful catalyst who gives you lift.

Then wings set true,
A heightened view,
Leaping and dancing and flying like you.

Spiraling upwards through lands that I drew:
When I in my most hopeful state imagined
A heaven for this body,
A tangible nirvana.
