Little Tiger

Little tiger burning bright,
won’t you be my light tonight?
Wonder if you’ll turn my way,
give me light until the day.
Shine your little tiger eyes,
over me in darkened skies.
Little tiger burning bright,
won’t you be my light tonight?

Little tiger fit with fire,
give me light until I tire.
Hope you save me one last coal,
always to light up my soul.
Give my hands a radiant heat,
laced with flecks my eyes will meet.
Little tiger fit with fire,
give me light until I tire.

Little tiger set aglow,
do you know the hope you show?
Set ablaze with color true,
your spark speaks with what you do.
It speaks of night lit up by grace,
tells tales of peace,of warm embrace.
Little tiger set aglow,
do you know the hope you show?

Little tiger up all night,
can’t you see the sun in sight?
Awakened star for days swift morn,
and yet your light is not yet worn.
Close those gleaming tiger eyes,
your lights to bright for daytime skies.
Little tiger up all night,
can’t you see the sun in sight?

Little tiger sleeping sound,
i’ll see you when night comes around.
Dream of little tiger skies,
‘til prowling night comes on the rise.
Slumberland in blissful state,
assured of tigers nightlight fate.
Little tiger sleeping sound,
i’ll see you when night comes around.
