Live For Me

Who am I, you ask; well… who are
you? To ask such a thing, better yet,
to respond to your question, one must be
sure of the answer; If I answer, will you

Promise not to be surprised, will you, instead,
ask nothing further? Inquiry only leads to more
confusion; confused are the ones who know,
misguided are the ones who believe, finished

are the ones who understand. All there is for
you and for me is Us; through Us, it can be sought.
sing joyous brethren! Appeal to each other!
find solace in your sister, in your brother.

The secret will be revealed in time; until then,
know not who I am, know not who you are, but
know the things you do, know the people you see,
and know your dreams – these inspire and relieve.
