Loneliness
Pause. Eyes Open. Blank face.
Staring at nothing. Time slows down its pace.
Snap back and continue the task at hand.
Dishes, Sweeping, Mopping and Laundry.
Folding and Hanging so fondly.
Pause. Eyes Open. Blank face.
Staring at nothing. Time slows down its pace.
Snap back and continue the task at hand.
Supper not time, Boiling pot on the stove.
Does anybody know?
Pause. Eyes Open. Blank face.
Staring at nothing. Time slows down its pace.
Snap back and continue the task at hand.
Strong Arms Embracing me. My sweetheart, My love
No more Pauses, A love I will never be devoid of.
Close my eyes, Sleep peacefully by his side.
Awakend. Cold bed. Dissapointment I hide.
Pause. Eyes Open. Blank face.
Staring at nothing. Time slows down its pace.
