Lonely Girl

She is a lonely girl.

Eyes soaked with drops of despair running down her cheek.
The soft whisper of a cool breeze makes her feel free.
Yet, in that moment, she is haunted by a lingering negativity.
The sweet taste of freedom is starved from her soul.
Silent screams echo louder as she loses all self-control.
Brittle and broke from the weight of agony,
Her mind is poisoned with no remedy.
Self-imprisonment; locked in behind thick dark walls.
Teetering on the edge until her world crumbles and falls.

She is a lonely girl.
