Lonely Road

I can get down on my knees and beg for your time.
I can pull the moon out of the sky and you wouldn't know.
I ask myself why,
Why every time I put on a show,
You walk out without hesitation.
No matter how hard I try,
I can't seem to beat your temptations.

You look at me,
But you don't see me.
You hear me,
But you don't listen to my plea.
How much more must I give?
How much longer must I live
Knowing you've set me on this lonely road?
I walk alone down this lonely road.
