Lonely

Eyes that wield the look of a lost distrustful stranger
Lost like the pebbles that burst into a million bubbles
Accumulates thoughts like the blue-green algae foam in a pond
Unleashes anger that is untamed like a wild beast but toxic like plastic
Flames roar in madness when approached
Always feeling incarcerated like a lost rebel
Money brings hope but carries no salvation
Sleep is a temporary relief but full of demons and nightmares
Wants to obtain a state of insomnia like a mountain that never sleeps
Deep beneath the corporate smile lies thousands of invisible needles
Exhibits the language of animals but doesn’t inhibit the language of humans
No endoscopy can diagnose the everlasting feeling of being lonely.
