Look So Good

I'm on my way to a fantasy,
getting dressed up perfectly.
Rummaging through my vanity,
I'm masking each anxiety.

To the ones who knew me,
my language was dead.
But tonight I'm applying bold.
My lips have found lingo.
My cheeks are the rosiest of red.

My only panic is only a scramble of shoes.
One of them I always seem to lose.
Which pair do I chose?
