Looks Decay

I used to think I was cute,
Until I was proven wrong.
I used to think I was pretty,
Just like the words of a song.
I used to think I was Beautiful
until you came along.
I used to think I was gorgeous
Until my feelings grew strong.
But then I knew I was,
just for a little while.
Even though I knew it
it went out of style.
I will never feel cute again,
because it went away.
I will never feel pretty again,
because laws cannot obey.
I will never feel beautiful again,
because the past cannot replay.
I will never feel gorgeous again,
because looks decay.
But then I wasn't cute,
My looks seemed to fade.
But then I wasn't pretty,
Because it's become cliched.
But then I wasn't beautiful,
Because I couldn't persuade.
But then I wasn't gorgeous,
And I wished it had stayed.
