Losing Someone You Love
Losing someone you love is like walking through a field of once golden daisies.
As you walk through, you feel the heartbreak they do as their last petals fall to the ground.
Or like a tornado of emotions, and you can’t seem to find out how to feel.
Your heart aches as the tornado tears through your once full home, which is now fully broken.
Losing someone you love is like a bright red rose whose color starts to fade.
As you watch the petals fall to earth,
you begin to understand how it feels to have one thing fully wreck your life,
Like the wind fully destroys the rose as it passes by.
Or like a hot day in July,
It tries to leave, but you can't say goodbye.
You want them to stay, but they're already gone.
Losing someone you love is like heaven, but hell.
You gripped your chest, and held your heart as it fell.
