Lost and Alone

By Calypso    Calypso

Remember that trip to Paris?
You tried to speak French,
And we nearly starved.
Gave up and took a train down the tracks,
Looking back,
We asked ourselves, what was art?

Please don't let me be alone
When the time comes.

Frank, I think I'm lost,
And alone in America.

In Germany you caught a cold.
I took to the streets
And searched for something to keep.

We flew home the next day,
And exhausted we played
I Spy all day and into the night.

Frank, I think I'm lost,
And alone in America.

I talk to you every time
I can't sleep.
But now I'm alone and lost
In our own house.

Loving you took me around
The world,
But now. I'm alone and lost
In my own house.
