Lost Away

Battered winds, a beaten heart,
a shore now long forgot.
The rising sail, the Captain's hail,
for journeys the sea begot.

Now cast away, in skies of gray,
the thundering clouds alarm.
In salt and spray, I savor the day,
I return into your arms.
