Lost Beyond Found
Emotions are forever there,
Never leaving, always pressing in,
Always leaving us to be lost.
We've all been told how life isn't fair.
We've all been told not to sin.
Consequence coming from moments,
That were acted upon without thinking of cost.
Life leaves you lonely, cornered, and hurting.
Yet you'll find life loves illusions.
Letting you to decide what lingers in your mind,
What haunts you, drives you, and what stops the bleeding.
Never expect a time without confusions,
And don't hold too tight to a momentary high,
They will always leave you stumbling and blind.
Those moments you find yourself wishing for a wish,
Balancing on the brink of breaking,
A faint desire to be lost beyond being found.
Don't leave yourself stuck in moments you miss,
For it will have you spinning,
Searching for something to hold on to,
Desperate for a place to land, somewhere sound.
