Lost in Love

Corrupt was the world,
Breathtaking was she.
She laughed and swirled,
In a world not meant for thee.
What she thought was heaven,
Was hell to be true.
And she dreamt of Eden,
With her man in blue.
Her heart was gold,
And the world was a sly.
She was naive and chaste,
He was high and dry.
