Lost in The Cause

By

To sick to mentally see
Disturbance knocking as the bird flies East
A humming sound louder than the silence
Where can I be?

A fight bigger than my imagination
Love thrown and misinterpreted
To fit a selfish greed of being a trophy
How can this be?

Losing the love that was once there
Disconnection that becomes comfort
A secret bitterness manifests in a way
That consumes me daily
What does this mean?

When will the sky be clear
The torrential rains dissipate
Torturous winds stop throwing me about
Why is this happening?

A fight for a cause , long forgotten
Caught in the turmoil of life
We’ll get back eventually
Remembering how and why this even started.
Peace will rein and goals will be met.
Lost in the cause of yesterday
