Lost in the Wind

Life comes and life goes
But the future is never known.
Nothing is certain
Your fate you must determine.

Loved ones taken in the blink of an eye,
With no chance - to get a last goodbye.
But God always has a reason
And death is continuous like a season.

Make choices and never look behind,
Eventually you too will be unknown to mankind
So create the largest impact
Too be held in loved one’s hearts as an artifact.

Be stupid, be safe and live with no regret,
Because God will call, letting light through the lunette.
Soon when it’s your time to go
You will be remembered and bound to us as a shadow.

So go ahead and don’t you cry
Because today isn’t the last goodbye.
You will be our guardian looking over to protect
Because we all love you and one day will connect.

As you leave we will not show aggression,
For you will enter the kingdom of heaven.
You parted the earth and never sinned
Now take God’s hand and fly off with the wind.
