Lost Innocence

What would you do if you were me
Looking at a limp little body
They plotted each murder one by one
Taking the life of their innocent daughter or son
I feel your sorrow deep down inside
Meanwhile the life you carried has quickly died
If life is as precious as we all say
Why do their mothers feel the need to take that away
It was never meant to be this way
But these hard decisions are rarely child's play
She'll pray for guidance when she needs it the most
And feel the lose be hunted by baby ghost
Wondering why she can't go on
Knowing that one day she'll go before the throne
With all the lives women end in abortion
They never consider making them an orphan
At least they'd have the chance to live
Once you've done what you have chosen
There is no way that life can be unbroken
As you walk around with this unbearable shame
Remember you only have yourself to blame
