Lost lover
You acquiescant lover,
Despair behind the eyes.
Yourself looking out,
A tragedy on the big screen.
Life streached thin
Osmosis of the skin
Allowing no closeness in
But the touch of sympathy
Pull apart ashes;
A diamond lays buried.
But the sight to the wanderer
Seems such value long lost
Arsonist aggravaters,
They prick and they prod,
Controlling you like puppets:
Like some sick god.
Lines cut slack,
They still pull apart the seams
From behind closed doors
Hidden behind the scenes
But alas you glint
You glitter
And you shine
A reveler of time
Long gone by
