Lost Ship

Lost ship where have you gone?
You left port early this morn'
The skies were clear and the seas were calm.

The storm came from nowhere.
The ship rocked to and fro.
The sea so restless they had no rhythm.
The seas were the darkest blues they were almost black.
The clouds a dark blue grey
Bulging with rain
All the while the captain tries to find the eye.
"Come on, come on." The captain mutters.

He is far, far too late.
The sea claims another ship and her crew.

Lost ship where have you gone?
You left port early this morn'
The skies were clear and the seas were calm.
