Lost soldier

I kissed the casket
you were in, thinking
you were dead;
I had chills go
down my spine
when they read me
the news;
I still shed no tears;
i'm so far but, yet so
close, I know you
so well, I know your
still near, you cry for
me in the night, &
i'm wishing you were
here, on another
planet you are the
star that guided
me to you, there
was thousands of roses,
yet only a few clouds
that day, it sprinkled
but it didn't rain,
something was missing
but it wasn't you,
you were here
you were here..
it doesn't feel right
I know your not in
there, I kissed the casket
you were in, thinking
you were dead;
around me I tried
to read the eyes
of everyones minds;
no one read, they
were the only
ones who seemed
dead than, but.. you were
here, you were just here.
