A Star once burned in me.
It gave light to my sight.
You could see it twinkling in my eyes.
It warmed my heart
And no smile was cold.
She was through whom I found the gift of love;
Love the eternal light.
But the star burned the eternal light.
I lost my sight
To walk the path I once had.
My most humble heart I would give
to live my life with her again.
To bond our hearts
till our life is gone but not our love.
But her return is just a desire,
For her fire burns once again but not in me.
I ask her then, one last thing,
To think of me on her final night.
What anguish is that star that gives you her light
But then abandons your heart
And keep from you that which never dies.
