I was born soft
Warmed by the sun
Lulled by the sea
Sailed through her starry sounds

Born into her
Born through her

I spend most of my days trying to remember how to get back to her.

Trying to hear her over the aches
Trying to meet sorrow with her image

And I’ll lose sight many times
before I reach my end

Her voice so sweet and soothing
Will carry me home again.
