Love by the moon light

She stands next
to the spring.
Covered by trees.
The only light that shines in.
Is the light of the moon.

It shines through.
Like a diamond cutting
Through glass.
Shining down upon her.
Showing her lover the way.

Through the darkness,
The moonbeams dance
Across the water.
Causing it to sparkle,
And shine before their eyes.

The soft autumn breeze,
Brushes against their skin.
As they lay her head upon his chest.
Looking at the moon above.
Being where they belong.
