Love For Unstable People

We are chaos
We are explosive
We are not seen for our motives
We are bedlam
We are toxic
We exist in little moments
We are selfish
We never deal
We put our blinders on when things get real
We are anger, we are silence
We are destructive, we are violence
We are broken, we are shattered
We are choking, we are battered
We fight, we cry
We scream into the night
We tape and glue
We patch and sew
With the very few things we think we know
We try, we climb
But we never forget
To fail, to fall
To lose our grip

This Poems Story

I wrote this poem about the fights that I have had with my fiance. We've been together for 5 years. She is bipolar and I am depressive. At times,(sometimes for months) our illnesses do not know how to communicate. We always get through it with this understanding. When things are good, they are great! But when things are bad, they are almost unbearable. We get through it. We always do.
