Love Is a Distraction
Love is a distraction
How am I to focus when your hands continuously grip my face?
When your hands gently caress the inner surface of my thighs
How am I supposed to pay attention to my surroundings?
When your lips are blinding me
They force me to stare and admire
I know I should focus
Though, you are an exception
I suffer from your distractions
How can I focus when your smile is mesmerizing?
When your laugh is alluring
I can't help but notice the finer things
Your laugh and smile makes my heart skip
Your eyes search for mine
While mine wander over you
I know I should be focused
But you are the center of attention
I sit and observe willingly
And I can't complain
You are so rare
I am looking at the moon and stars in human form
You are my beautiful distraction
