Love Is Irrational
Love...It makes us lose our way in life.
Succumbing to irrational existence.
When we are lost and disillusioned,
it leads us through the darkness home
to understanding and peace.
It is the knife which clips our wings and
the antidote that heals our broken hearts.
It comes by way of kind intention with smiling
eyes and outstretched arms. Then leaves us
suddenly alone in the company of dark disbelief,
with only memories of laughter and embrace.
The ever-indulging capture, fashioning bondage,
without chains and prisons, exempt of wires or walls.
Giving sound promise and significance to life and overtime
through death, dissolves. I love you!
Succumbing to irrational existence.
When we are lost and disillusioned,
it leads us through the darkness home
to understanding and peace.
It is the knife which clips our wings and

with only memories of laughter and embrace.
