Love Is Over

Love is like a one-winged dove
Love is like a one-winged love
Many times, it is not fair
It takes not one, but two to care

To be in love, and happy, too
You must have feelings, and many do
But, there are some that use it wrong-
In a poem and in a song

You start out well, you start out right
You start out perfect, in every sight
Then the day comes it all falls apart
It won't be the same from the very start

Then it's to court, the fighting begins
You rip apart your covered sins
Then you split your separate way
Love is over, your sight is gray
