Love Is Supposed to Be Kind

Love is supposed to be kind,
But it's the ugliness of love that stays in my mind.

I know now why Shakespeare can't compare his love to a summer's day.
I understand why Tina thinks love is irrelevance.
It can be abusive, omnipresent, or not even love.
This word known as love can be a big inconvenience.

It's the beauty of pain that people want to see,
To wake up and get breakfast in bed or a kiss on your head.
Or to wake up with your true love laying next to you.
Not to wake up and realize your love has become dead.

Love is supposed to be kind,
But it's the ugliness of love that stays in my mind.
