Love Is the Answer

I sit here in my room with a blank face
While my mind is flipping through an old scrapbook
Remembering old memories at a slow pace.
I feel my eyes get tighter, every time i take a look.
This pain that sits inside me is so poisonous
Carrying a pocketbook that has all the antidotes
But this one time there no cure for what I have caught
The way I was raised is what I was taught
Everyone is afraid of what I have become
now, I stay in the shadows
Afraid that my infection will explode out of control.
walking in this dark alley alone
This most gorgeous angel I ever seen fell from the sky
While my heart is still filled with sadness and loneliness
This angel had a cure for me that made me cry
It was love
Knowing she wanted me for who I am
only me, giving me her true love
Showing me so much love and care
Being my friend from the beginning till where we are now
Thank you for what you have given me
