Love Is the Only Infinite

Wondering of a time and place
When my heart defeats my sure disgrace
When pain subsides and colors bloom
When dark is light, and peace consumes.
When death defeats, and angels fly,
When fear retreats, and demons cry.
When power comes from words unspoken,
When love defines a beauty broken.
When hands are held, and tongues are bit
When failure passes, infinite.
And deep inside a shattered soul,
A hero comes to gain control.
Through thunderous havens, burning snow
Our souls will see we can't let go,
Of love.
