Love Isn't About Imperfections

Ten years I've stood watching
Dreaming to capture your hand in mine
I wasn't sure if it was love or lust
Now, I believe it was love
If you were blind, I'd still love you
Deaf, I'd still love you
Mute, I'd still love you
An amputee, I'd still love you
I'm waving at you, but you're blind
I say "hello," but you're deaf
I am waiting for your response, but you are mute
I'm begging you to follow me, but you have no legs
But I still love you
Regardless of your imperfections
And regardless of how you feel
I will look out for you
I have always been looking out for you
