Love Knocking on Our Doors

When I first met you, I didn't think "us" could be.
I had my life and you had yours,
but love did not stop knocking on our doors.
Could it be? Should it be? Was this person meant for me?
Questions, I would ask, but the days went by too fast.
Long nights, star sights, praying this was right.
You had your doubts and so did I,
but friendship wasn't one to choose.
No one agreed, to what could be, no one agreed to what could succeed.
But, love did not stop knocking on our doors
But, what if? But, how? But, when?
Questions, I would ask, but the days went by too fast.
Our love could not be stopped as non could not unlock
As our doubt that we plead, we were not to be set free
As love did not stop knocking on our doors.
Now were here, living with no fear.
With God in our hearts, and living with our sweethearts
the love that couldn't be agreed, is now ready to succeed,
Proving to the world that this was meant to be.
That was then, this is now, our love has grown that God has allowed
Not to give up, but to lift up
to ones that not agreed, is now ready to set us free.
