Love Letters
Our nights,
waiting to hear your voice,
Your words comforting,
Brings a smile,
A childish laughter,
Expressions of anticipation comes across my face.
As I turn the pages,
You loving me.
Only letters I receive.
Only in my dreams,
You hold me close,
Your heart, I can hear beat.
Lost in the bright afternoons,
Daydreaming always of you,
Until the Day,
I see your face,
Finally you come home to stay.
Then my soul shall be complete once again.
Only until that one day.
For now lost in a dream,
Of that one beautiful day,
You found your way back to me.
