Love Lost Twice

I have a girl, well, once I did

Yet farewell to her heart I bid

Adieu, I say and then I cry

Oh baby doll, I hate goodbyes.

But Auburn hair and big blue eyes.

To hold on to her love's demise.

Please stay with me and I will be

Your oak, your birch, your solid tree

Whose roots take hold of breaking heart

We were so close, now worlds apart.

And even if she goes away,

The love we had, so much to say

Like solid fronts and cats named Bob.

And never was that love a job.

Instead a pleasure, was the feeling

Her blue eyes sent my cold heart reeling

She was my muse but now she's gone

I cant go on without her song.

Dana my Dana please stay with me,

No longer blind, i now can see.

I know you've had enough of me.

I am so scared to be set free.
