Love Masquerade

That impure touch housed in masquerade
Seek the body of many, the love of few
Love hidden in lust with the darkest shade
Hope for love in lust is a lighter hue
A wild wanton wretched wench not to trust
Men take quest of love, in whose love is lost
Sheath of love, blade of lust; take heed its thrust
A price of pleasure and pain be thine cost
Bound by love's false reason, snared as lust's prey
Chase a spider to its web where shame waits
Yearn for love that strays, but shame is to stay
Trapped by man's thirst but what man does that make
Hunt demons to heaven then into hell
What scheme does lust tell love that makes men fail
