Love Me Not
There are endless, melancholy reminders of your presence
Captured in these old photographs.
All I beg of you is remembrance,
In hopes that you never forget our past.
You once repaired this shattered heart;
But in an instant, you fled to begin a love anew.
I shall ask the same favor as I did from the start;
Please love me, at least as deeply as I loved you.
See, you punctured my heart with your lies
And robbed me of all my dreams and aspirations as you left.
Now I'm suffocating due to your unwanted goodbyes.
Who am I to punish you for your theft?
At last, this fragile soul cannot breathe,
Strangled by the love I once gave to thee.
