I don't hate love poems.
I love them.
Adore them even.
I am able to think of a different person for
Each and every one I read.
But as I scour these lines and
Look over my feelings at faces,
That while I have many lovers for my love poems,
I am no ones.
I am not the one who they see stars when they look into my eyes.
I am not the refreshing air breathing life into them.
They all have someone,
While I am left with memories of them as I watch their backs fade
With their pleasant peals of laughter,
And universes caught in their eyes.
Their beings so full of muses and art
Walk away with their love poem lovers.
My lovers leave.
