Love the Disease

Burn, burn like a midnight sun.
Brighter than before,
A collapsed memory,
Vague, with the scent of you
Or once was.
Cruel world has crushed you again.
Torn apart the pages to a beautiful word.
It's on the tip of my tongue but I can't seem to memorize.
Or tantalize. The dreams of you..
Crave the torment.
Love such a beautiful nightmare.
Clings like disease to a carcass.
Decaying my mind and spirit.
We've both died and lived, in love, many times .
