Love Turned Cold

This is the story of a love turned cold.
Many times it has been told
It all began in the youth
When I realized my love for you
After time you made me your foe
For after a while your love turned cold
But before the day of darkened despair
There were memories made, and memories shared
The love grew old, it's luster lost
You grew tired, and away I was tossed
A friend I sought, so a friend I seeked
A friend who was there for the times I weeped
A friend to relieve the pain you caused
Irrepairability is what your love costs
And now you hate, for you have loved
And may the hate run through your blood
It is I you hate, for I am your foe
For after time, your love turned cold
